Catching Up

Great Grandma Evans and Kennedy at Jack Powell's baby blessing on Sunday, August 5th. It is always fun to see James' extended family and boy do they always serve the most delicious food! I didn't get a picture, but we sat Kennedy down on the floor to play with her second cousin, Aaron, who was born the exact same day just 2 hours before her! He couldn't resist trying to pull her luscious locks and thus ended their play time with Kennedy balling. :)

Lindsey (Lewis) Dastrup, one of my good friends from high school, came in to town last week and we were able to get to together with some of our old friends for lunch. It was fun to catch up on everyone's lives. Here's a big SHOUT out to Lindsey who is number one in her Law Class at University of Maryland. What an accomplishment!! Way to go Lindsey!!

My best friend from Tennessee, Danielle (Watson) Haines was also in town last week and she stopped by to visit. She and her husband, Blake brought his six year old nephew with them (as pictured below) and Kennedy is sure showing flirtatious tendencies at a young age. :) She LOVES little boys. She couldn't keep her eyes off of him. It was wonderful getting to see Danielle. She is almost five months pregnant and due January 7th, just three days before my due date with Kennedy. :) She is looking so adorable and I'm so excited for her. My prediction is it's going to be a girl. Anyone who knows about my "witch craft" chinese gender calendar predictions.....just wait 'til next week and we'll see if it's accurate yet again! :)
